User Profile

  1. What is a user profile? Back to Top

    The user profile page contains your personal information. This includes Username, Real Name, Email address, Zip Code, and the About Me section. This page also contains the picture you uploaded to represent yourself. Other users who view your profile only see limited information from your profile.

  2. How do I create my user profile? Back to Top

    You'll create your user profile when you register. Creating the profile requires entering information on the Edit Profile page and saving it. The only required item is a valid email address. Information may be added or changed later by clicking the Your Profile link and using the Edit Profile option.

  3. How do I edit my user profile? Back to Top

    Edit your user profile by clicking the Your Profile link. When your profile page opens, click Edit Profile and make the changes you want. Click Save changes when finished. You must be logged in to update your profile.

  4. Do I have to put my photograph on my profile? Back to Top

    No. Adding an image on your profile is optional. Users can post any image they want to represent them or none at all. If no image is provided, ZooZag displays a default image. A small version of your image appears on each of your listings and a larger version appears on your user profile page. The image also appears when you are listed as a fan on other users' profiles. Images must be less than 8MB in size.

  5. I don't want my email address in my profile. Back to Top

    Not a problem. Your real email address won't appear on your public profile or in email you send through ZooZag. ZooZag directs messages to your real email address but hides real user/seller email addresses from the message path. However, if you choose to have your listing appear in a printed newspaper, the printed listing does include your real email address for contact purposes.

  6. Can I view the profile of another user? Back to Top

    Yes. On a summary listing, click the seller's name or photo to open their profile page. On a detail listing page, click About Seller just below the Contact Seller button.
